2 hour dress

I have just finished making a pretty simple dress for me.  Not made a dress for myself for about 20 years and so glad I did. It was so much easier than I was expecting. I will be making more now I know I can do this design.

I chose a striped fabric to have a little challenge to match up the design and I think I've done ok.

Just need the summer to show its face now.

I have put this up for sale in my Etsy shop.

Approx 29" x 29", made from a selection of mauve, purple and pink fabrics and brushed white cotton backing and unbleached natural wadding filling to keep you warm.

My Book arrived today

Me and my 3 daughters are all hooked on The Great British Sewing Bee ....  So I just had to get the book which accompanies the series and as I have also applied to be on the show too (finger and everything crossed) this will be a great little insight into this brilliant series.
	I have been busy reading my new book today, its brilliant and I am sure it will be worn out with use by the end of the year.  And you get 5 full paper patterns with it too to help you make lots of lovely clothes for all the family.   My eldest daughter has already placed an order with me for several new dresses and middle daughter wants a few skirts too ...  I am going to be very busy.
