Chorizo, Leek & Onion Quiche

I love home made quiche an this is one of my own recipe's which I have just made for our tea.

		Ingredients: Short crust pastry  220gm self raisin flour 100gm Butter half teaspoon salt 4 tablespoons water Filling 1 Leek 1 red onion 3 large eggs 50 gm red Leicester 50 gm mozzarella 3 tablespoons double cream 2 tablespoons tomato sauce 7 pieces of chorizo Method make pastry & blind bake 20 mins fry onions & leeks until coloured mix cheese, eggs, onion & leeks together with the cream cover base of pastry with tomato sauce and place chorizo over bottom  pour over mixture bake in oven @ 160c for about 20/25 mins EAT & ENJOY

Sewing Machine Broken boo hoo ...

Disaster has struck, my sewing machine has broken ... well gone a but wonky.  Time for a service I think, sewing backwards when every it likes and messing up my fabric.

Oh well this lovely dress I had almost finished will have to wait a while to be completed.

Summery little dress with fancy horizontal pleats

I just Love Scottie Dogs

Had a lovely creative morning with some beautiful sage linen and more little Scottie dogs.  I have cut out and prepared 4 envelope cushion covers in total and completed one cushion cover today.

Once all made will be putting in my Etsy Shop for a price of £12.50 each (plus postage costs), however if you like them and would like a little pre-sale discount I will be happy to sell them for £10 each (plus postage costs) - contact me if you are interested.

2 hour dress

I have just finished making a pretty simple dress for me.  Not made a dress for myself for about 20 years and so glad I did. It was so much easier than I was expecting. I will be making more now I know I can do this design.

I chose a striped fabric to have a little challenge to match up the design and I think I've done ok.

Just need the summer to show its face now.

Approx 29" x 29", made from a selection of mauve, purple and pink fabrics and brushed white cotton backing and unbleached natural wadding filling to keep you warm.
